Click

A networking and relationship-building workshop for people who are quietly brilliant — and quietly allergic to small talk. Build the network you actually want.

Click: Networking & Relationship-Building

Most networking advice is useless because it's aimed at extroverts who already enjoy working a room. For everyone else — and that's most people — it feels transactional, performative, and slightly mortifying. So they avoid it, or grind through it, or collect business cards they never follow up on.

Click takes the opposite approach. It treats networking as a craft of building real, reciprocal professional relationships — the kind that come back to help you five years later, not the kind that generate LinkedIn connection requests and nothing else. It's for people who want a better professional network without turning into someone they're not.

Who it's for

Introverts in client-facing roles

Who deliver brilliant work but find networking events draining or disingenuous.

Senior individual contributors

Technical or functional experts whose career progress now depends on visibility, not just output.

Consultants, lawyers, and partners

Who need a pipeline of real relationships, not just a CRM full of weak signals.

Founders and operators

Who need investors, advisors, and clients — and are tired of awkward coffee chats that go nowhere.

From a recent participant

“After the session with Matt my presentations got better — both in structure and form. He taught me how to engage my audience — so that they not only hear me but also aren't bored to death.”

What participants say

More from the room

I used to dread the drinks afterwards. Now they're the part of the event I actually plan for.

Most networking training is performative. This was honest — and practical. Our whole deal team went through it.

Frequently asked questions

I'm introverted. Is this going to force me to 'work a room'?

No. Click explicitly rejects the extrovert playbook. You'll learn approaches built for people who prefer one-to-one conversations over circulating — and you'll leave with a network strategy that fits your temperament.

Is this about LinkedIn and online networking?

Partly. We cover both in-person and online, including written outreach, LinkedIn, and follow-up. But the core is the underlying craft — which applies everywhere.

How is this different from a sales training?

It's not about closing. Click is about building professional capital over months and years — the relationships, trust, and goodwill that pay off when you need them. Sales training teaches you to get to yes. Click teaches you to get invited in the first place.

Can this be tailored to a specific industry or event?

Yes. Teams often run Click ahead of a specific conference, annual sales kick-off, or leadership offsite so the practice targets an actual upcoming context.

What's the ideal group size?

12–20 works well. The group needs to be big enough to practise varied approaches but small enough that feedback stays personal.
